Falcon Machining Ltd. does custom work for many of the top shooters in the United States and around the world. This can include everything from a simple trigger job to extensive re-working and rebarreling of competition rimfire weapons to suit the requirements of the most advanced shooters. Everything is done the old fashioned way, using manual machines, one gun at a time.

Pictured above is a Smith & Wesson model 41 with 7in. barrel cut to 51/2in. This a very popular modification because the original Smith 7" barrel is already lighter than the 5" barrel. A shortened barrel and scope mount combination further improves the balance of the pistol and, by reducing the weight, it also reduces fatigue.

For this modification the barrel is cut, the top is completely milled off and then then the two top radii are remilled. The barrel is recrowned, reblued and the custom scope mount is added. Total weight of barrel and scope mount is 4.25 oz. less than the original barrel alone. The charge for this work is $195.00. Please contact us before sending guns or money.
