Although the original High Standard Manufacturing Company of Connecticut is no longer in business, many of their fine target pistols are still doing business as usual. The High Standard is still the all time favorite of competitive shooters and the standard that other pistols are measured by. Falcon Machining is nationally recognized for expertise in pistolsmithing these outstanding products.

Even those competitors who are shooting European target pistols still refuse to part with their old High Standards. Proof of this is the lack of used High Standard pistols and the high price they bring when you do see one

For those competitors who would like to put a new degree of accuracy on their High Standard and in their shooting, Falcon Machining Ltd. offers two types of very high quality target barrels, aluminum and steel. See the "Barrels" page for additional information and prices for other barrels.

All our barrels for High Standards are produced from original High Standard “PROCESS OPERATION SHEETS”. The front sight dovetail is cut to accept an original High Standard front sight. Barrels are hand chambered and available in .22 short or .22 long rifle, with screw or plunger style take down.
